This classroom course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Audience: For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, physicians, nurses, nursing students, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a BLS for Healthcare Provider Course.
Course length: Approximately 4 hours (Initial and Renewal Course)
Upon successful completion of written test and skills demonstration, students receive an American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card, valid for two years.
A current BLS Healthcare provider manual is required to attend. If you do not own the updated version, you must purchase prior to class. Books can be purchased through us by adding the optional book at checkout.
